Dr. Augustino Clark
Dr Augustino Clark received honours degrees in BMedSci and MBBS from the University of Tasmania in Hobart, Australia. He later was awarded a Masters of Ophthalmology with Distinction from the University of Otago, NZ and received a fellowship from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. He then undertook subspecialty Vitreoretinal training in Brisbane and Italy.
He currently resides in the Northern Rivers and consults in Lismore, Ballina and Maclean at his practice MBL Eye Surgeons. He is also employed as a VMO Ophthalmologist at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Lismore as well as at the Lismore Base Hospital.
Dr Augustino Clark is a member of the European Society of Retina Specialists, the Australian and NZ Society of Retina Specialists and the American Society of Retina Specialists. For continuing professional development, he regularly attends ophthalmic courses and conferences throughout the world.
For inpatient surgery performed at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dr. Clark has agreed to participate in the No Gap scheme with all major health funds (subject to your level of cover). Dr. Clark also operates through the public system at Lismore Base Hospital.
Dr Augustino Clark has also conducted research on various subjects in his field and has co-authored several publications.
